Alexandra has completed a Bachelors degree in Health Psychology from York University, a post-graduate degree in Behavioral Sciences, and a specialized certification in Addiction Education from McMaster University. She has over 4 years experience working in the social services sector. She worked as a Supervisor of a service provider of the Community Care Access Centre and was most recently involved in an innovative demonstration project through the Ministry of Community and Social Services supporting adults with a dual diagnosis. Alexandra is a member of the Ontario Independent Facilitation Network and has received extensive training in leadership skills and visual counseling.
As a Supervisor, Alexandra is very passionate and has built her practice upon client advocacy, person directed support, and innovative program development. She strongly believes in the importance of inclusion, community participation and opportunity. Areas of expertise are Case Management, Mediation, Family Counseling, Individual Counseling, and Education.
