Kim is practicing recovery and has extensive knowledge and understanding of the 12 step program of recovery and its principles of living a happy and sober life. After a short period of sobriety Kim was diagnosed with cancer which she successfully battled and remained sober. Post treatment and after a lengthy successful career in an unrelated field, Kim decided to pursue a second career by returning to college to attain certification as an Addictions Counsellor. Kim completed the addictions and community service worker diploma at CDI in 2017 as part of her placement she completed it at ART.
Through her diverse work, life and treatment experiences, Kim has the ability to truly relate to her clients on an individual basis and their personal needs
