Sherri Klein
M.A., R.P., Registered Psychotherapist
Sherri Klein is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in working with individuals with substance use and mental health issues. Sherri holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Alder School of Professional Psychology, and has completed trainings in addictions, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and ACT.
Sherri has worked in a variety of settings. After completing her Masters, she developed and implemented a Day Treatment Program for St. Michael’s detox where she worked with individuals who were primarily in the shelter system.
She spent many years co-faciitating adolescent addiction recovery groups and also facilitated groups for JACS where she helped family members, women, and those new to recovery.
She worked as a case manager for many years at the Ontario Medical Association’s Physician Health Program, where she assisted physicians, veterinarians, and pharmacists, who experienced substance use and psychiatric issues.
Sherri has also worked for Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) where she has helped individuals in crisis or those wanting to make positive changes in their lives.
