Our Programs
Muay Thai
Muay Thai is a boxing combat sport originating from Thailand. It is known as the art of eight limbs; fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Individuals that pursue combat sports often experience psychological benefits; increasing dopamine and endorphin levels.
At Addiction Rehab Toronto, Muay Thai is offered on a weekly basis in our client-centred treatment programming. It is a movement meditation, which can help relieve feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression.

The Benefits of Muay Thai
Muay Thai is also widely used as a precision based coordination exercise utilizing anaerobic endurance which vastly improves one’s strength, dexterity, and cardiovascular endurance. The sport teaches personal strength, self-responsibility, self-reliance, and self-perseverance. The process of learning new skills is transferable in real life scenarios giving the sense of success and accomplishment.
