Ruwan Perera MD, MCCP graduated from Windsor University School of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Akron General Medical Center. He is an upstanding Member of the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine (CSAM), American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and a managing Partner of Malton Medical Group, Malton Medical Methadone Center, New Beginnings Clinics. With this outstanding involvement and experience in the field of addictions, he brings a comprehensive approach to managing recovery from a medical and holistic position. Dr. Perera has focused his practice in Addictions for the last 8 years and as a result has risen to become one of the most prominent Doctors within the field.
