Dr. Rahim Haji
Dr. Rahim Haji, BSc, DC, MD, earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in psychology from the University of Calgary and then went on to complete the Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He worked as a Chiropractor for 4 years in multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings where he treated numerous musculoskeletal injuries in amateur and professional level athletes. Following this, Dr. Haji studied medicine at Saba University and completed his Family Medicine training at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Haji has a diverse array of interests including chronic disease management, general medicine, addictions medicine, men’s health, mental health, preventative medicine and sports medicine. He is also is a lecturer and part time staff at the Scarborough Health Network, where he lectures on diverse topics such as sports medicine, general medicine and addictions medicine, and also trains medical residents from the University of Toronto.
He has completed additional training in medical and cosmetic aesthetics as well as Obesity medicine with a focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). He holds a focused practice designation in Addiction Medicine and is passionate about the field of Addiction Medicine .He continues to advocate for patients while maintaining a busy clinical practice.
