Ameena Marsh
M.A. (I.P.), H.B.A.Sc., R.S.S.W., Registered Psychotherapist (Q)
Ameena obtained an H.B.A.Sc. at the University of Guelph-Humber and a Social Service Worker diploma at Humber College. She is also completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (graduating in December 2024) and plans to start doctoral studies in 2025. At Addiction Rehab Toronto, Ameena’s therapeutic approach is humanistic, culturally adaptive, and mindful. Ameena primarily works with adults and has experience supporting individuals with diverse identities and intersectionalities. Before psychotherapy practice, Ameena worked as an Addiction Counsellor and in the field of Social Work. Alongside her career, Ameena volunteers with non-profit organizations that work to bridge the gap in access to wellness-based resources in equity-deserving communities. Ameena is also passionate about environmental sustainability and intertwining counselling with nature.
